Monochrome GT4 Australia race winner Tom McLennan will make the switch to TekworkX Motorsport for the upcoming round at the Phillip Island’s inaugural GT Festival.
McLennan won the opening race at Queensland Raceway, demonstrating strong form in Monochrome GT4 Australia since debuting in the series at Round 2 held at The Bend.
For Round 4 of Monochrome GT4 Australia, McLennan makes the switch to TekworkX Motorsport where he joins the ever improving Zoe Woods in her Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS.
Woods has been a top 10 outright contender and has run competitively in the strong Silver Cup competition.
Currently sitting fourth in the Silver Cup, McLennan is targeting a rise up the standings at Phillip Island and the Porsche will be well suited to the fast, flowing layout.
To keep up with McLennan’s progress across the GT Festival weekend, Foxtel and Kayo will be broadcasting the event live, while GTWorld’s YouTube Channel will also provide coverage.
The GT Festival will be held on August 23-25.

“I can’t thank the team and Zoe enough for having me onboard to drive their Porsche this weekend at such a late notice. Really looking forward to working with the team, as I have always raced against them in other Porsche series so it’s cool to now join them for a weekend.
“I’ve done plenty of driving in Porsches so hopefully we can transfer that into the GT4 and grab a good result this weekend with Zoe and the team.”
